Note: This panel session includes a reception.

The Women in Signal Processing panel will this year replace the traditional "Women in Signal Processing" luncheon. It will be a dynamic and interactive forum whose goal will be to celebrate the presence and achievements of women in the area of signal processing, and discuss strategies for success in a research career.

It will include a discussion between leading scientists on issues that women face. Through audience participation it will formulate ideas/strategies on how to prepare women on their pursuit of a career in academia or industry, and how to best promote deserving female individuals to influential positions.

We hope the panel will allow attendees to network, share experiences and debate issues of common interest.
