Welcome Reception and Recognition of Student Award Nominees

Come experience the timeless beauty of the Crystal Tea Room at the ICASSP 2005 Welcome Reception beginning at 5:30 pm. Located across from the Marriott in the Wanamaker Building -- 100 Penn Square East, the grandeur of the Tea Room makes it the perfect place to enjoy delectable food and meet with your friends. Look for "Betsy Ross" at the corner of 13th and Market if you need directions. Enjoy the fun and meet Benjamin Franklin, author and inventor, courtesy of The MathWorks. Jazz music will be performed by musicians from "6th street quaternion" who perform at Chris' Jazz Cafe

We will also take this opportunity to recognize the outstanding ICASSP students and the sponsors of the Student Awards. You won't want to miss this Welcome Reception!

A Surreal Experience!

Join us Monday, March 21 for an unforgettable evening at the Philadelphia Art Museum Reception! The evening will consist of traditional jazz music and a reception with tantalizing cuisine provided by award- winning Restaurant Associates. Included is a breath-taking special exhibition devoted to the world-renowned Salvador Dali (1904-1989). This is truly a unique opportunity as Philadelphia will be the only U.S. venue for Salvador Dalí, the most comprehensive retrospective ever mounted of the artist’s work. Over 200 works of art will be on display for your enjoyment. Special transportation to the Museum will be available following the Technical Sessions. The cost of this event is only $75 and can be purchased with your regular conference registration.
