Workshop: Teaching with TMS320C6713 DSK WorkshopSaturday, March 19, 09:00 - 16:30, Convention Center Room 112-AFormat: Hands-on Workshop Length: 7 Hours Prerequisites: Knowledge of Linear Systems, a basic knowledge of DSP, and a programming language such as C/C++. Level: Intermediate Abstract: This popular workshop offers training on the TMS320C6713 (and TMS320C6416 to a lesser extent) DSK and Code Composer Studio from renowned Instructor and author of five DSP textbooks, Dr. Rulph Chassaing. This hands-on teaching workshop will emphasize the laboratory component of DSP. Dr. Chassaing will be teaching using his newest book: Digital Signal Processing and Applications with the C6713 and C6416 DSK, Wiley, 2005. Attendees who remain for the entire workshop will receive a complimentary TMS320C6713-based DSK including a board and Code Composer Studio software (a $395 value) at the end of the workshop. Speaker: Rulph Chassaing, Worcester Polytechnic Institute Dr. Rulph Chassaing teaches Real-Time DSP at both Undergraduate and graduate levels in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). He has been teaching DSP and Applications, and programming TI's TMS320 processors for twenty years. He is the author of five textbooks on DSP and Applications using TI's TMS320 processors.
